![]() ![]() ![]() P.S.: if you wan't to create damn NRG, just PM me. But as I said, I believe they could really use also CUE/WAV, which I would store as an alternative. So to me, the only technically possible option from asked ones is the NRG file. Burning software then combine data from both files and send complete 2352 sectors to the CD burner. You can also change the video and audio quality while copying. Users can create discs to store all kinds of files and documents. You can burn discs without any sort of limitation. In any case, it's just for data discs, because it stores sectors with 2048 bytes to the image.Īudio CD format employs 2352 bytes per sector (including all subchannels), hence it's not really possible to store just as ISO file.Ĭommonly used WAV/CUE can accommodate both, because clean PCM audio data are stored as WAV file and auxiliary subchannel information goes to CUE file. Movavi Video Suite is a great CD-burning software that will let you copy data to CDs and DVDs within a few minutes. ISO came as shorthand for ISO9660 file system, although later in time it was also used for UDF filesystem. say using ImgBurn or DamonTools, it won't be possible and as soon, it will find audio cd type, it will switch to other kind of image file (like CUE/WAV, CUE/BIN or other proprietary format NRG). Even if you would like to rip audio CD to ISO. Hopefully they'll see sense. It's hard to promise, you can't do any ISO with audio. I've basically said I can do it (the company actually want 'ISO + audio' which is even weirder) but have quoted them a much higher rate than my DDP rate. Still with all the hassle, it might be better than physical burn and rip from CD, because the process is completely bit perfect, no read/write drive offset is applied etc. Click 'Copy' button on toolbar, then choose 'Copy CD / DVD / Blu-ray disc.' from the popup menu. If you start the burn, it will ask you for destination for your new NRG image. Please follow the steps to copy disc, Run PowerISO. You just use CUE/WAV as a source for your burn job, but instead of selecting of real CD/DVD writer you need to select Nero Virtual image recorder as a target device. The software can convert CUE/WAV to own NRG format without any issues, however you won't find any specific image convert function there. which was very common at PCs at CD/DVD writers heyday. NRG is image file specific for Nero Burning ROM software. ISO files are generally usually used for images with normal data (as opposed to audio) with ISO9660 filesystem, so most programs couldn't prepare or convert ISO file for audio CD. Anyway if they will be reluctant for whatever reason (like illiterate operators of a duplicator with 1,2,3 checklist and no chance for testing), then it will need another step of conversion and it became bit difficult I'm pretty sure, if they are asking for NRG and ISO files, then their software could also burn from mentioned CUE/WAV files. Just hit the button from UI, then first select DDP folder and then it asks you for output location, where is stored CUE and WAV file. (bit compared several tracks, checked all indices etc.). I've tested it, when it was released and found no issues with that. One of its functionality is conversion of DDP to common CUE/WAV file. It is primarily intended for Reaper users, as Reaper can produce DDP, but there's no direct burn from DDP and checking.
